At Bliss Salon & Spa, educating our stylists is very important to us.  We want our stylists to feel confident in themselves and their skills.  We educate our stylists in two areas:

1.  Each new cosmetology graduate at Bliss goes through our Associate Program.  As an associate, the stylist works closely with one of our successful senior stylists as an assistant.  This mentoring relationship includes watching the stylist closely to learn new techniques, practicing techniques on both mannequins and models, helping the mentor service guests, and learning customer service skills as well.  When the new graduate has completed the associate program they begin working on their own.  Participating in the associate program gives our new stylists more confidence and helps them to gain success quickly.

2.  In the beauty industry change is always happening.  There are always new styles and trends to keep up with, new technology and products to learn about, and new clients to try them on.  In order to keep up with the challenge of all of these changes, we have classes in our salon on a regular basis.  Our classes consist of cutting and coloring techniques and trends, business classes, make-up application classes, up-dos, and any other challenges our stylists have.  Knowledgeable stylists have more confidence and enjoy their jobs better, and of course do a better job cutting your hair.  Each of our classes is taught by a professional educator in the salon industry. 

Teamwork
Teamwork is important to us at Bliss Salon & Spa.  We encourage all of our staff to work together to support each other and the salon in all they do.  We believe a team environment makes for a happier and healthier work environment for our staff, which makes a more pleasant environment for the guests who visit our salon.  Please let us know if you see our employees showing exceptional teamwork.

Spa
When you receive a spa service at Bliss we strive to make it the most relaxing experience.  Whether you enjoy our private Pedicures, a Facial, Massage or a Manicure, you will feel pampered.  We set the mood by pleasing all of your senses, relaxing music, aroma therapy smells, and a cozy warm setting.  All of our spa services are performed with much time allotted so you won’t be rushed , and so that you can fully enjoy the service.

Customer Service
All of our customer service staff will assist you in making the appointment you need that fits into your busy schedule.  They are also able to help you choose the products that benefit your hair texture and condition, choose a great gift, and help you upon arrival.

Dallas  - Manager,Stylist, and Team Leader
Dallas has the experience and education to lead our team. Dallas is a certified Redken Master Specialist, Redken Certified Colorist, and a Regional Performing Artist for Redken, teaching classes to salons and stylists all throughout the Midwest.  From the most technical haircuts, to how to choose the right products, her joy for teaching and sharing her knowledge is evident to the stylists she mentors to the guest she shows a new technique.  Her passion lies in  sharing inspiration and keeping stylists educated and motivated to be their best.  She leads our stylists thru our new hire training and assisting program, performs monthly seminars in the salon as well, helping our stylist to always continue growing.

Rachel - Office Manager, Wedding Coordinator
Rachel is a woman of many responsibilities - all of which help Bliss run smoothly.  Her passion is to see Bliss be a place where employees are excited about working and participate fully in a team atmosphere.  Rachel also desires to make sure your experience at Bliss is all you hope it will be and more.  Please be sure to let her know if you have any questions or comments about your experience.  She is here to make sure you are completely satisfied with your experience, just be sure it’s not her that cuts your hair.

Colleen  - Stylist

Colleen is a fun oriented stylist that enjoys spending time with her family as well as golfing, dancing and reading. She is highly educated and uses her skills to pamper her clients as much as possible. Her love for her job shows and has grown since she started in the industry in 2000. come in and see Colleen for a classic style or to be transformed into a brand new you.

Cara  -Stylist
Cara has been with Bliss Salon & Spa since 2006 starting her career as a member of our front desk support staff. During those years she put forth a lot of energy, enthusiasm, and desire into our company with the strive to ensure that your stay was enjoyable and exceeded your expectations. Now, as a licensed cosmetologist and a graduate of Douglas J Aveda Institute Cara will continue to ensure that you are blown away with her hair cutting, hair styling, and coloring techniques. Cara's love for the industry, natural talent, and resonating personality will assure that you receive the perfect look, home maintenance education, and quality that you need.

Magi - Stylist

Magi is an energetic, fun loving and positive person, ready for any challenge in front of her.  Magi continues to keep up to date with techniques to create the new trends in hair and fashion.  She can accommodate your lifestyle with amazing hair to make your personality shine.  Come see Magi for a complete makeover or to perfect the look that you already have.

Ashley-Stylist

Ashley is a motivated, fresh face in the industry.  She graduated from Williamston and furthered her education in the art of Cosmetology at Douglas J.  Ashley is energetic and enjoys dancing, outdoor sports, volleyball, and running.  She is naturally talented and has great artistic ability.  If you are looking for a great style and a relaxing experience, Ashley can make you feel relaxed with a wonderful shampoo massage to begin your service.

Edie  - Massage Therapist
Edie is certified with the State of Michigan as a massage therapist.  Edie performs a variety of different massage techniques including; Swedish massage, prenatal massage, and hot stone therapy.  She will consult with you prior to your massage and customize your massage experience according to your needs.  Edie believes that massage is a great step towards a healthy lifestyle.  Let her hands prove to you, that massage is a special treat.

Trish - Nail Technician
