This will ensure that your stylist or technician has opportunity to give you their full attention and the time you need with them. You are welcome to bring snacks and beverages while your party is here, however we do provide light morning pastries, fruit, champagne, and orange juice for the morning of the wedding. We do enforce a 3 Week Cancellation for the full party, as well as a 48-hour cancellation fee for individual members of your bridal party. If this cancellation policy is not respected, the fee for the canceled services will be deducted from the deposit.
Start thinking of hair color six to eight months before the big day. This will give you and your colorist time to work toward the perfect color, because color changes can take a few visits to perfect. Bring pictures of beautiful color to your visit with your colorist; this will help you both communicate. When thinking about growing your hair for your wedding day, think twice. In most cases, shoulder length hair is perfect for an updo, although any length will do. Wear your hair the way you feel confident everyday, leave your hair to your stylist to deal with on your wedding day. Think ahead when you consider the condition of your skin. Facials will help repair and resurface your skin and give you a beautiful glow, but these services need to be thought of ahead of time. Again, 6-8 months at least is a good time to start seeing an esthetician. A trial run with your stylist is a great idea for your wedding day style. Plan to bring your veil and any head piece with you for your trail run. Also, plan your trial on a day when you have a shower or bachelorette party, then the do doesn’t go unnoticed. Another idea would be to bring a friend with you for critical input. Be sure not to practice to soon, this way it will be fresh to the mind the day of the wedding. From the day you get engaged, if you see an updo that you like in a book or online, add it to a collection of tear sheets to share with your stylist. Tear sheets help you and your stylist make sure that you are on the same page. They don’t have to be pictures of the exact updo, just “looks” that you like. When it comes to length or thickness of your hair, there are options. If your hair is too short for your dream look, or too fine, an option for you could be a hair piece. A weft of hair can be added to your updo at a reasonable cost, and nobody will ever know! When considering what type of style you want your hair, remember, you and your dress are the main focus. If your dress has a lot of detail, keeping your hair simple may be a great idea. If your dress is simple make your hair a bit more detailed. Deep conditioning and trimming your hair on a regular basis will assure a beautiful look. Deep conditioning will add shine and moisture, helping reduce fly a ways. Trimming will reduce frizzy and frayed ends. Make sure that the look for your hair and make up you choose for your big day fits you and your personality. If you are simpler, keep it simple. If you are more dramatic, make it dramatic. Practice your make up with your make up artist before the big day. Tear sheets from magazines will help you both communicate on the look that you are going for. Also show it to your friends and family, they are your best and honest critics. Take a picture of your make up so you can see how it looks when photographed. Purchase the foundation that you plan to wear on your wedding day. This will help ensure that you have no allergies and that it is the right weight and the right ingredients for your skin type.
